Originally planning to elope in Las Vegas, Rachael and Lorenzo’s traded the neon lights for the rugged beauty of an intimate Rocky Mountain National Park wedding, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the golden aspens, snow-capped peaks, and towering trees, every moment of their intimate wedding felt straight out of a dream! It was proof that the best weddings are ones that feel completely you, wherever that might be!
Rachael and Lorenzo got ready separately at Murphy’s River Lodge in Estes Park, Colorado. It was the perfect setting for a slow, intentional morning before they said “I do” in the Rockies. Golden aspens swayed outside as the crisp mountain air rolled in, and it honestly made these moments feel so surreal.
Rachael wore a sleek, form-fitting gown that felt both classic and elegant, while Lorenzo wore a light gray suit. He waited just outside the lodge for their first look, and the second he turned around, emotions hit him hard. This was such a special and intimate part of the day—one I’m sure they’ll never forget!
Rachael and Lorenzo chose Moraine Park Amphitheater as their Rocky Mountain National Park wedding ceremony location, and it was perfect. They had live music with views of the peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park, which were dusted with fresh snow. They exchanged vows in front of a wooden cross, which was decorated with delicate white florals and flowing fabric. When you have gorgeous views like this, minimal décor lets the natural beauty speak for itself!
Their closest people gathered around the rustic wooden benches, wrapped in coats and blankets, soaking in the moment as Rachael and Lorenzo stated their love for one another! You could feel just how happy everyone was for them with the warmest hugs and biggest smiles. One thing is for sure, and that’s that these two are deeply loved.
After their intimate ceremony, Rachael and Lorenzo ran through the golden fields with Rocky Mountain National Park as their backdrop. It was windy, which added such beautiful movement to their photos! I love how the wind played with Rachael’s dress and her hair. The rugged peaks stood tall in the distance and you could hear the softness of the river flowing next to them. It truly doesn’t get any better than that!
After soaking in the mountains, they headed back to Murphy’s River Lodge in Estates park for a drink, a few more moments of stillness, and a few final portraits. I loved Rachael’s fur coat. It was the perfect accessory for a Colorado wedding. This was the perfect way to take in a few last moments before heading off to their reception!
The reception at The Next Above in Estes Park was intimate and warm. They had candlelit tables, floral napkins, and the beautiful wooden cross that they had for their ceremony. The Nest Above has beautiful vaulted ceilings and glowing chandeliers, making it the perfect location for a Rocky Mountain National Park wedding reception. Guests sipped on cocktails and shared stories as the evening unfolded. I also loved their thoughtful details like locally sourced honey favors! It felt so personal and inviting.
There’s just something about Rocky Mountain National Park that makes it the perfect place for an intimate wedding. The towering peaks, golden fields, and the lighting in the mountains—it creates the most epic kind of backdrop. Every turn holds a new view, and every couples who chooses to get married here walks away with not only beautiful imagery, but unforgettable memories!

“Just went through them like 1000 times and by the end of it me and Lorenzo were both in tears, they are incredible!!! The entire time we’re like ‘omg I can’t believe she got that!’ You truly have a gift and we are so lucky to have found you and we will cherish these pictures forever! Thank you again for being you!”
