Chelsea and Sam had such a fun and intentional summer camp wedding at Camp Kettlewood in East Troy, Wisconsin! East Troy is a pretty small town, so if you’re not familiar, it’s about 40-ish minutes southwest of Milwaukee!

Aside from Chelsea and Sam, one thing that I especially loved about this summer camp wedding was that all of their family and bridal party stayed on the campground, and I thought that was so fun! It felt super intentional to the couple.

Getting Ready & First Looks at Camp Kettlewood

The morning was spent getting ready separately at Camp Kettlewood. This was the perfect location for a summer camp wedding in Wisconsin. It felt so secluded and was just beautiful. Chelsea got ready inside her tent and had hair and makeup done by Meraki Salon, and then shared an emotional first look with her bridesmaids’, then with her father.

After that, Chelsea and Sam shared a sweet first look in a beautiful woodsy area. Sam had a huge smile on his face when he saw Chelsea in her wedding attire, and it was truly such a sweet moment to not only capture but to witness. He and his groomsmen kept it classic with grey suits, which perfectly complemented the bridesmaids’ looks!

Sam + Chelsea’s Portraits & Full Wedding Party Photos at Camp Kettlewood

After their first look, we then got some more portraits of Chelsea and Sam together out in this beautiful, open, woodsy area. We also got some out in front of this cute little camper, which was totally giving more of those summer camp wedding vibes, and I loved it!

After their portraits, we then got some photos of them with their full wedding party together. I loved Chelsea’s bridesmaids’ dresses and how they were mismatched but all fell into the same color scheme, and their wildflower bouquets by Garden of Eden that matched the entire summer camp wedding theme perfectly!

A Summer Camp Wedding Ceremony at Camp Kettlewood in Wisconsin

Chelsea and Sam had such a beautiful outdoor summer camp wedding ceremony at Camp Kettlewood. They held their ceremony on an open grassy area surrounded by trees with the sun shining down. Having an outdoor wedding truly made so much sense for Chelsea and Sam. They are both avid outdoor lovers, and in their spare time, they love hiking, kayaking, and canoeing!

Chelsea and Sam actually met in Ecuador and did long distance for FOUR YEARS! It’s obvious that these two are so in love, and watching their entire wedding day unfold really showed this.

A Fun Outdoor Summer Camp Wedding Reception at Camp Kettlewood in Wisconsin

Chelsea and Sam had such a fun summer camp wedding reception following their ceremony. They had the best weather and the cutest, most intentional decor and details! There was live ceremony music by Gabriel’s Horns as well that added such a beautiful touch to their wedding.

They had a fun crossword puzzle activity that guests could take part in, and their table numbers were marked with pictures of them at the age corresponding to the table number, which was so personalized and cute!! They also had such a fun beer canoe where guests could grab a cold drink during the reception, and lawn games for guests to play as well!

The reception was full of very funny and heartfelt speeches, which made everyone emotional.

Chelsea + Sam’s Sunset Summer Camp Wedding Portraits in Wisconsin

Of course, Sam, Chelsea, and I had to sneak away from the reception for a few minutes so we could catch some sunset portraits of the two. There’s just something about a Midwest sunset! I just love these two and their sweet love. It was such an honor to be their Wisconsin wedding photographer and capture all of their intimate and candid moments throughout their entire wedding!
