We started off their Balboa Park engagement photos in Alcázar Garden. This is such an iconic landmark in San Diego! The California Tower in the backdrop is soaring and can be seen from miles away. The tower’s stunning architecture blend’s several styles, making it perfect for San Diego engagement photos!
For their session, I loved the outfits that they picked out, especially Sophie’s white flowy dress, which allowed for lots of movement and playfulness! It felt classy and perfect against the backdrop of Balboa Park.
Exploring The Speckles Organ Pavilion at Balboa Park
After exploring around the California Tower, we then made our way to another iconic location—the Speckles Organ Pavilion! The architecture features grand columns adorned with the most intricate, beautiful details, making it a popular spot for San Diego engagement photos and other photoshoots alike!
Finishing Their Balboa Park Engagement Photos at Casa del Rey Moro Garden
We ended the session at Casa del Rey Moro Garden and then made our way up to a courtyard featuring a beautiful water sculpture. If you can’t already tell, Balboa Park offers beautiful locations and picturesque spots for your San Diego engagement shoot! You can get variety of looks and vibes for your session. Sophie, Jackson, and I only visited a few, but the options feel limitless!
